The Rick’s Trucks & Equipment – Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series is slated to roll into “The Track That Action Built”, Fremont Speedway, this Saturday night, May13th. Located at the scenic Sandusky County Fairgrounds, the wooden, covered grandstand is one of the most unique race viewing pleasures in the industry. As gracious hosts to the BOSS tour, a great car count is typical during the BOSS events there. This Saturday will be no exception.

A great roster of 18 full time drivers committed to the 2017 campaign and all 18 made the journey to the season opener at Atomic where Harrison, Ohio’s “The Juice” Justin Owen squeezed out a victory over his teammate Michael Fischesser in an epic duel on the high banks. Owen will carry an 11 point lead into round #2 of the 19 event season.

In addition to the touring stars, several Fremont Speedway local teams will be pulling their wings off to defend the home turf! The local drivers usually seem to have a good handle on the tricky Fremont Speedway making them tough to beat! Some other area sanctions and tracks are off for the weekend and several surprise entrants are also expected including a few cars from north of the U.S. border!

Joining the traveling BOSS outlaws for the evening will be the winged 305 sprint cars along with the dirt trucks and 602 crate late models. Gates will open at 4 pm with racing scheduled to begin at 7. Adult general admission is $14 with seniors admitted for $12. Children ages 11-16 are $8 while kids 10 and under are free.

For race teams, pit passes will be $30. Standard BOSS purse of $1,500 to win and $250 to start is in effect for this event. As always, the BOSS tour has no weight rule and an open tire rule. There are absolutely no membership or entry fees. Mufflers are NOT required for this event. Fuel is available at the track along with the TCB Speed parts trailer. Transponder rental will be $5 through the track. For any other questions, feel free to contact BOSS at sprinter14@hotmail.com or phone 740-703-3768.
