(Middlebourne, WV) – The dirt modified world has turned it’s attention to the 2nd Annual Modified “MEGA 100” which now sets at just single digit days away. Nine. It’s all that seperates the best of the best from a financial business trip to the Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, WV where over $70,000 stands up for grabs to the open wheel division. July 7th – 9th the hills of the Mountain State will roar with dirt modified mania three straight nights featuring the Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour.

1 – The best modified racers in the world. The best of the best unite under the lights of “The Bullring” to showcase their skills and a shot at the largest purse in the East.
2 – An awesome weekend ticket price. Three-day reserved-seat ticket packages are value-priced at just $50 for adults and include a free reserved seat with advance purchase.
3 – Three consecutive nights of Renegade of Dirt Modified Tour action. With complete racing programs topped by 30-lap, $4,000-to-win A-Mains on Thurs., July 7th, and Fri., July 8th, leading into the featured MEGA 100, 40 lap finale on Sat., July 9th.

5 -Passing Points. Utilizing a passing points formula the racers have only one option, PASS CARS! In order to earn a bid each night these gunslingers must shoot themselves to the top of a heat race to earn valuable points that set the feature lineups.

7 – The Bullring. Highly regarded as one of the nation’s raciest venues featuring three and four wide action all over, this little quarter mile sure lives up to it’s nickname ‘yal.
8 – Pre-race. An incredible Saturday pre-race show that features a unique display of 1200+ light sticks and a completely dark venue as we hype up the starting roster.
9 – A hard-working track-prep crew. Charlie Kimball, John Watson, Daniel Patterson, and others bring decades of knowledge into the racing surface at the MEGA. The crew will spend hours upon hours working the track with their equipment during the event, doing their best to ensure multi-groove racing from start to finish.
10 – It’s a party! If you want to find some late-night campground action, then you can’t miss the MEGA 100 weekend. Just meander through the camping area and you’re sure to come across groups of fans hanging out and enjoying themselves.
11 – We don’t forget about the Late Models. All three nights of competition will feature the full fendered stars. Thursday the Steel Block Late Models , Friday the Super Late Models, and Saturday the FASTRAK & Super Late Model divisions both compete.
12 – Feature start pay. A staple for drawing cars is start money. The MEGA 100 has one of the best starting pays of any modified event in the country. Over $1,200 will be guaranteed to drivers who make all A-Mains including $400 per night.
13 – No time trials for Modifieds. Heat races are lined up via pill draw. It’s guaranteed to grant you plenty of three wide racing

19 – A family outing. There is plenty of Family Camping Areas, where quiet hours are observed to provide a suitable environment for those with youngsters and fans who like to turn in early.

21 – Adrenaline Parts Non-Qualifier. An added attraction on Saturday night, the 15-lap race will be a perfect last chance showcase.
22 – Fireworks! There’s lots of pre-race pyro to stimulate all your senses. One of the best pre-race pyro shows anywhere.
23 – Driver introductions. Making the field of twenty-five on Saturday sure deserves a big round of applause during one special intro for the drivers as we set the stage for the finale of the “MEGA 100”.

28 – Incredibly talented fields. Last years car count reached nearly 70 of the nations best modified teams. Drivers with huge national wins, championships, and more will all battle for a spot in the features.

30 – Jacob Hawkins. Last year’s feature winner put on a clinic to score his biggest career win. Can the home state driver from Fairmont repeat as “MEGA 100” champion?
31 – Emotions run high. With so much on the line during the MEGA 100 weekend, competitors sometimes can’t hold back their emotions. A “mysterious” Hawkins shirt was seen being burnt in the pits after Saturday’s big win…needless to say these guys are competitive and ready to put on a show.
32 – Packed pit area. Packed is putting it lightly. Over 150 race teams will have the spacious speedway pit area bulging along the middle island.
33 – It’s a key weekend in the Renegades of Dirt Championship. With this seasons “chase style format” the Renegades of Dirt tour will see only three cars come out of the “MEGA” weekend still in the hunt for a championship.
34 – It’s new and ultra cool. Returning for it’s second season the event is one of the coolest in any division of dirt racing all year loaded with fresh new ideas for your viewing pleasure.

36 -Kyle Strickler.The two time IMCA Super Nationals champion is yet to earn a crown jewel modified win here at the Tyler County Speedway. The track winners circle seems to always elude the modified ace with big money on the line. Will this year be there year for the “High Side Tickler” to break through?
37 – Camping / Fishing. Built along the Middle Island Creek there is plenty of fishing opportunities while you recharge and wait for the next race night. Camp out and take advantage of this local fishing hole.

39 – Wild One Weekend. The EDGE Hotmods will race for three nights during this new event over the weekend that allows the drivers to set their A-Main field on Saturday.

41 -Lance Elson. He’s already earned his spot in the show on Saturday through way of a qualifier and he’s been on a rail at the “Bullring” in the month of June. Will he be the local favorite during the weekend?
42 -Nick Corbitt.Perhaps there isn’t a ‘hotter’ driver than Waverly, WV’s Nick Corbitt at the speedway over the course of the last month. Corbitt has a trio of podium finishes including a win. Can he keep the money in the state and fend off the challenges of the nations best?
43- The Tar Heel Tandem.Taylor Cook and Derrick Ramey have been oh so close many times during the big stages at “The Bullring” including Cook’s runner up performance at this years “Let It Ride 55”. Will one of the Tarheel State touring regulars break through with the biggest win of their careers?
44 – Determined officials. Mother Nature doesn’t win battles at Tyler County without a fight. After last year’s practice was canceled due to rain it wasn’t for lack of effort. Track crews worked tirelessly to get the program in all weekend and were able to do just that on Friday & Saturday.
