The doubleheader Mo Vaughn Transport / BOSS weekend at Legendary Hilltop and Tyler County Speedway was washed out last week by remnants from tropical storm Bill that worked its way north. The much anticipated events have been rescheduled for Friday and Saturday, July 24th and 25th. All the details of the weekends events remain the same including the host hotels. The Friday night event at Legendary Hilltop will see BOSS hot lapping last on the evening (around 7:30 pm) to allow travel times for teams with the short notice. The sprint cars will run first the remainder of the program.

Although it has been a rough start with a record 4 rainouts (and it is only June), the tour looks forward to busy months ahead with a lot of action packed events. Details will be released Sunday for the upcoming Lernerville – Pittsburgh doubleheader slated for July 3rd and 4th.

Lately, the Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series has been a hot topic in sprint car circles. In only its 4th full season, the tour has seen phenomenal growth. The drivers and teams who have supported the tour are directly responsible for this growth and popularity as they have put on some fantastic racing. A special thanks also goes out to the many track promoters who host the tour and to the many race fans who seem to always have great and encouraging things to say!! At this time, BOSS would like to say a big thank you to the many contributors and sponsors who have made this tour what it is. We are not always able to include everyone in every press release, but for once, we are naming them individually.

These are many of the reasons BOSS is so successful and we say THANK YOU!
