3rd Annual ‘Monster Modified Weekend’ Up Next For The Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour!

(Middlebourne, WV) With twenty three of the East’s most elite racers declaring their full assault on the 2014 Renegade of Dirt Modified Touring presented by Arizona Sport Shirts championship, the action and weather is just starting to heat up. When twenty three drivers from six states return to the tour next weekend all will be pouring their blood, sweat, and tears out on the dirt for a chance to earn valuable points for a stake at the hefty point fund and all the accolades that come with success on the Renegades of Dirt stage. The biggest season yet reignites when the tour invades two area high banked ovals where $5,000 dollars in winners loot will hang in the balance during the 3rd Annual “Monster Modified Weekend”, April 18th & 19th. Furthermore, with NASCAR on an off week race fans can take to their local dirt tracks to ensure they get their racing fix next weekend.

The Renegades of Dirt presented by Arizona Sport Shirts makes its first appearance in the Ohio Valley area during next weekend’s “Monster Modified Weekend”. The twin bill of open wheel action will see the tour battle at the Tyler County Speedway on Fri. April 18th for $2000 to win then trek to Hilltop Speedway on Sat. April 19th for $3000 to win. Current point leader and the “North Carolina Modified Nationals” victor Kyle Strickler currently leads the contingent of touring travelers including; Derrick Ramey, Travis Dickson, Rich Michael, Amanda Stiffler, Ryan Ayers, DJ Cline, Taylor Cook, Robbie Evans, Rick Aukland, Chris Arnold, Mark Dickson, Tyler Evans, Scott Stiffler, Tyler Nicely, Kevin Miller, Mike Conkle, Lance Elson, Jesse Wisecarver, Brian Skaggs, Tanner Wilson, Nathon Loney, Patrick Lyon, and Cody Parker as they visit the states of West Virginia and Ohio. The third season of touring action will feature a can’t miss racing program showcasing the talent laden lineup of Renegades, Ms. Renegade of Dirt Desiree Hixenbaugh, pre-race pyro, and a one of a kind open wheel modified spectacular.

The Tyler County Speedway will play host on Friday night April 18th, for the first of four weekend visits by the Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour presented by Arizona Sport Shirts in 2014. The “Bullring” will welcome an expected forty plus open wheel warriors for the history making evening. For the first time in the tracks forty years the ¼ mile dirt oval will breath life on a stand-alone Friday night of racing action dubbed “Friday Night Lights” which also features the FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series as they compete for $1,500 to win plus all regular racing in all other weekly divisions. The track synonymous for three wide racing is also celebrating its 40th Anniversary season in 2014 adding to the can’t miss excitement of this special edition of racing action. Pit gates are set to fly open on Friday at 4pm, with general admission gates opening at 5pm. The drivers meeting for modified participants is set at 6pm with hotl aps and qualifications getting underway promptly at 6:30pm. General admission will be priced at just $15 with children 10 and under admitted free, pit admission is $35 with all children under the age of 5 admitted free. The diehard Hilltop Speedway fans can rest assured they will be treated to quite possibly the most talented field of open wheel modifieds ever to grace their high banks when the tour travels to the 3/8 mile dirt oval on Saturday April 19th. The $3000 dollar winners prize is the largest single day stand alone purse ever paid out to the open wheel division at the Millersburg, OH speedway which is sure to attract a wide array or racers as they race wheel to wheel with the facilities fast local stalwarts. The often standing room only crowd provides an overwhelming and one of a kind atmosphere when the Renegades roll into town, with the third annual “Monster Modified Weekend” looking no different. Jesse Wisecarver, Lance Elson, and Kevin Morehouse have all graced victory lane with the tour at the Hilltop Speedway, each will be in attendance seeking to record a second ‘w’ to their past triumph. Gates are set to open at 3pm in the pits with general gates swinging open at 4pm. Hot laps are set to get underway at 5pm with racing action set to go green promptly at 6:30pm. A mandatory drivers meeting is slated for 6pm.
