Southern Ohio Speedway Prepares To Get Back To Racing In 2015
2 min readWHEELERSBURG, OH-After ending the 2014 season back at the end of June, the Southern Ohio Speedway is anxiously anticipating getting back to racing in 2015. Racing action will return to the high banks in the spring of 2015.
Over the past four months, track officials have spent lots of time listening to feedback from race fans and race teams. Track officials have listened to the race fans and race teams and have developed plans to correct what fans/drivers want corrected and make the track better than ever. Sometime during the month of November, we will release a press release stating the issues fans and race teams have brought to our attention with actions we will take to correct each issue. The press release will also include complete details for the 2015 season.
We will go ahead and release that Super Late Models, Modifieds, and Sport Mods are going to be the main classes making up the large majority of 2015 races. Details of additional classes to run with those three main classes will be announced in the upcoming press release.
Before we move forward to 2015, we will look back to the 2014 season and will release the 2014 point standings for each class this upcoming week. We will release the final 2014 point standings one class at a time on our Facebook page and then have a press release summarizing the points champions on our website.
H&L Motorsports continues it’s commitment to Southern Ohio Speedway and looks forward to coming out better than ever in 2015. We would once again like to thank all of our fans, race teams, and sponsors for all of their support!
