Atomic Speedway Heating Up For Summer!

CHILLICOTHE, OHIO- Atomic Speedway will host Veteran’s Night this Saturday, June 14, an effort on behalf of track management to show its appreciation to those who serve. Atomic Speedway is not only “heating up” with the coming of the hot summer weather, but with its upcoming slate of special events beginning with Veteran’s Night June 14, a race that admits current military and those who have served for just five dollars with Military ID.
Next on the slate is the Wednesday, June 25 “All-Star Circuit of Champions”, All-Ohio Sprint Speedweek show paying $5,000 to win. Cars and drivers from across the nation are slated to be on hand for the All-Stars return to the Atomic high-banks, Ohio’s Fastest 3/8 mile oval.
Two more huge, nationally profiled midweek races are slated for Thursday July 3 and Wednesday, July 16: Coming July 3 is The NIGHT THE STARS COME OUT, featuring ALL STAR SPRINTS $5,000 TO WIN, Open Competition AMRA Late Models $5,000 TO WIN, and AMRA Modifieds; and July 16- UMP Summer National Series, ‘HELL TOUR for LATE MODELS’ paying $5,000 TO WIN, with HELL TOUR MODIFIEDS $1,000 to win, and Street Stocks.
Purse increases in Late Model, Street Stocks and Sport Mods have been announced in addition to added dates for Street Stocks and Sport Mods. Late Models will now pay $2,000 to win and $175 to start, with a more racer friendly purse structure—one of the best in the Midwest.

Atomic is a Hoosier only track. Check the website for rule details and the NDRL site for the July 25-26 weekend tire rule for late models. Veterans Appreciation Night is June 14. Gates open at 4 p.m. and warm-ups at 6 p.m. Racing begins at 7:30.
