Spring Shootout Postponed To Saturday, Modifieds Added To The Racing Card

WHEELERSBURG, OH-Due to rains on Thursday making grounds too wet to race on Friday, the Southern Ohio Speedway has had to postpone the Spring Shootout one day to Saturday, May 17th. With the OVSCA 410 Sprints up in northern Ohio on Saturday, Modifieds will replace the 410 Sprints on the racing card. The racing card will feature WRS Late Models-$1,000 to win, Modifieds-$600 to win, GCP Engines Sport Mods, Pure Stocks, and Enduros.

With the change in the racing card, admission prices have been lowered for Saturday. Adult general admission will only be $10 for ages 17 and up, $5 for ages 13-16, $2 for ages 7-12, and free for ages 6 and under. Pit passes will be $25 for ages 13 and up, $15 for ages 7-12, and free for ages 6 and under. Gates will open at 4:00 pm with hot laps at 7:15 pm.
