With 102 cars in the pits and fans filling the stands, the night’s events, including the Holmes Tire late model $1,500 to win special, was sure to please a fan of any age.

With a 19-car field, it was “Fast” Freddie Carpenter setting fast time for the night with a 14.825 in the Holmes Tire Late Model division. Heat race winners were Mike Lonas and Mike Basich, with the dash win going to “The General” George Lee.

Setting the pace for the $1,500 to win feature event was Lee, with Corey Conley on the outside. Jumping out front early was Conley, with Lee and Carpenter battling for second as they made their way through lap traffic. With twelve laps in the red flag was brought out as Darrel Mayer, driving the 36, hit the wall in turn one and two spilling fuel down the track. During the caution, both Lee and Mike Lonas took their cars pit side placing Carpenter and “Chargin” Charlie Duncan second and third on the restart. Again it was Conley out to a commanding lead over the rest of the field when the yellow would fly with just one lap to go bunching the entire field back up for one last restart. After a shaky restart, “The Flying Ace” Corey Conley was able to hold on to the top spot and pick up his fourth career win at Hilltop Speedway followed by Freddie Carpenter, Charlie Duncan, Steve Prince, and Jimmy Smith.

The JPR Auto and Tire, Winning Edge, and A&B Roofing and Construction mini wedges had a field of 16, taking the top four of each heat to the A feature and the remaining to the B feature. Picking up the wins in each of the two heats was Phillip Bubeck and Caiden Black.

With each of the feature line ups set, feature A headed out onto the track. Out front early was Bubeck who was able to defend the top spot from the charging Black, picking up his first feature win. Rounding out the top five was Destinie Bates, Karyssa Beagle, and Brayden Renfrew. As feature B was lead to the green, it was Chase Settles and Dalton Anderson battling for the lead as Anderson took over top spot heading down the backstretch. Out to a commanding lead, problems slowed Anderson on the backstretch, coasting, trying to take the checkered; he was passed as by Corbin Adkins who went on to pick up his first feature win. Second went to Dalton Anderson, followed by Jesse Jessop, Andrea Hensel, and Logan Duncan.

Coming to the green, the 5-car field of Novice mini stocks was led by John Maki with Dustin Camp sitting outside pole. Taking the lead as well as picking up win was Maki. Rounding out the top five was Dustin Camp, Samantha St. John, Colten Priebe, and Hannah Rose.

The Barnes Performance Unlimited Modifieds were next to roll onto the track with a 14-car field. Setting fast time for the night was Rick Aukland with a 16.400. Heat race one win went to Aaron Scott and “Rockin” Robin Duston picked up the win in the dash.

Leading the field down the backstretch it was Duston setting the pace with last week’s feature winner Chris Basich on the outside. Taking the lead was Basich as he held off advancements from Nathon Loney and Anthony Kinkade. As the checkered dropped, it was Chris Basich picking up back to back feature wins. Basich was followed by Nathon Loney, Anthony Kinkade picked up third, Robin Duston fourth, and fifth went to Norm Aronhalt.

Sixteen cars made up the night’s Barnes Performance Unlimited Mini Stock division with Michael Rose and Jason St. John both picking up heat race wins, setting the front row for the feature event. As the green came out, it was Rose out front to take the lead and the win followed by Jason St. John, KC Butler, Jordan James, and fifth going to Blaine Markey.

The Holmes Pest Control Street Stock division featured three heat races with wins going to Kyle Moore, Brad Moore, and Bob Daugherty. With the seemingly unbeatable Moore brothers leading the 17-car field to the start, it was Brad who advanced to the lead over Kyle. Building his lead over the rest of the field as he worked his way through lap traffic and picking up back to back wins, third feature win of the season, was Brad Moore. Rounding out the top five was Kyle Moore, Matt Shroyer, Dave Potts, and AJ Cannon.

Fnishing out the divisions for the night was the Bugs-R-Gone trucks with a field of 15. Picking up the night’s heat race wins was Roley Heyder and Cole Lillibridge. With Heyder on point as the green dropped, he jumped out front. The yellow flag would come out as Lillibridge and John Large were battling for second position, forcing Lillbridge to restart from tail. With the restart, it again was Heyder out front followed by Large who pulled away from the field when another caution would come out from which Large would go pit side placing the hard charging Lillibridge back up in the second position. As the green dropped one last time it was Roley Heyder picking up the win, second went to Cole Lillibridge, third to Kevin Potts, fourth to Travis Winterringer and fifth to Tom Garlic.
