(Peebles,OH) Thursday February 13th marked another milestone in the history of Steven Partin’s Hidden Gem, the Dirt Late Model race that gives away all of its profits in the form of College Scholarships. During the first three years of the event, the only way fans could get involved was to show up to the race or Sponsor a Lap, however, now fans can become even more of a part of the event in the form of Crowd Funding. February 13th marked the opening of the Crowd Funding campaign offering people several different donation opportunities. Opportunities range from as low as $5 up to a title sponsorship for $5,000.

“Im excited to see how this new step for the Hidden Gem plays out” says 16 year old promoter Steven Partin “The fans now have an opportunity to be a bigger part in the scholarships to benefit more people”. You can find the Campaign page by going to “Racing for a Higher Education” on indiegog.com. Partin lets fans know “anything and everything is greatly appreciated, if you can’t donate i ask that you just share the campaign on your respective social networks”. For each donation there are perks. The Perks also range, like the donations, from a personal Tweet from Steven Partin to Gold Passes to the event which include VIP access throughout the night. Contributors will be awarded with these according to their contributions.

Steven Partin’s Hidden Gem is scheduled for Thursday July 17th and is set to pay the UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals winner $5,000. RJ Conley of Wheelersburg, OH picked up the win in 2013. Both years that the Hidden Gem has been sanctioned by the Summer Nationals the 3/10 Mile Brushcreek Motorsports Complex produced a first time Hell Tour winners with Eddie Carrier Jr in 2012. The Hell Tour is back in 2014 and ready for its third year of sanctioning the Scholarship event.
