FAST Ready To Roll Again In 2023
2 min readThe Ti22 Performance – FAST On Dirt tour is set to embark on its fifth season since joining forces with BOSS at the end of 2018. The new schedule for 2023 has 25 race dates with 21 of those already filled. As always, there are a few “To Be Announced” in the coming days. Currently 12 different tracks across 4 states make up the slate of events. If plans come together, that could grow to as many as 15 race venues.
Once again, the FAST series will pay $15,000 to the season points champion. The full rundown for the top 10 finishers on tour will be as follows: 15,000 – 7,000 – 5,000 – 3,000 – 2,500 – 2,000 – 1,600 – 1,400 – 1,200 – 1,000. The format for race events will stay the same as 2022. Standard events will pay $3,000 to win and $350 to start. Full-time teams will be guaranteed $400 minimum to start all events. The first 3 events will go off 2022 final points. Beginning with race 4, top 10 teams are eligible for the $400 start money.
FAST is monitoring the tire situation. We can assure everyone there will be a burn-off period where 2022 and 2023 tires will both be allowed at least through June 24. In early June, we, along with our full-time teams, will evaluate the market conditions to determine if the burn-off period needs extended.
The 2023 tour kicks off at Atomic Speedway on April 8th. Wayne County Speedway will play host to the most events with four dates, including the prestigious “Pete Jacobs Memorial” on Sunday, September 3rd. Atomic will host 3 events with Muskingum, Hilltop, Knox and Paragon all hosting a pair. We want to welcome four new tracks, set to host their first ever series events: Hilltop Speedway, Thunder Mountain Speedway, Circle City Raceway and Paragon Speedway.
