Allegheny 305 Sprint Tour Will Headline The Racing Events On July 24th At Knox Raceway

Knox, PA….717/2022……. The Big Mav Classic featuring the Allegheny 305 Sprint Tour will be held on Sunday, July 24th at Knox Raceway. The Allegheny 305 Sprint Car drivers will pay tribute to former 305 Sprint Car driver, Brandon Hawkins who at the young age of 26 passed away after suffering injuries in a construction accident that occurred on July 20, 2020. Brandon left behind his parents, girlfriend and his son, Maverick for whom the race is named.
Along with the Big Mav Classic the Sunday night racing card will feature the RUSH Wingless Sprint Cars, 270cc Micro Sprints and the Jr. Sprints. Gates will open at 4:00 pm with racing starting at 6pm.
Coming up then on Sunday, August 21st will be the first of two visits by the 410 Sprint Cars. These powerful machines will compete for a 25-lap event and local favorites should be in attendance including AJ Flick, Carl Bowser, Jack Sodeman, Jr. and many more. Also racing that evening will be the RUSH Wingless Sprints, the Penn-Ohio Pro Stocks and the Jr. Sprints.
The 410 Sprints will return on September 11th for the final circle track event in 2022 along with the RUSH Wingless Sprints and Penn-Ohio Pro Stocks. Starting times for both of these events will take place at 6pm.
Just added to the activities at Knox Raceway will be a second Demolition Derby on October 1st produced by Grandstand Productions. More information on this event will be forthcoming.
