Dog Hollow Has Week Off Before Month of Money Starts
1 min readSTRONGSTOWN, PA (June 21, 2022) – Dog Hollow, like most western PA tracks, is taking off Friday, June 24 while everyone heads to watch the Lucas Oil Series. Promoters Mark McClellan and Kyle Smith won’t be taking a vacation with a week off. They are constantly trying to give the drivers a smooth racing surface.
While they work on the track there is tons of work going on behind the scenes. There is 20 drivers confirmed so far for our Memorial Highway Chevrolet ULMS Super Late Model Show on July 1. The race pays $3500 to win and we hope to have some more good news for the drivers soon.
The following week, July 8, the 410 Sprints return to Dog Hollow for a $3000 to win event. The 410’s are exciting to watch at the 3/8 mile Dog Pound.
July 15 has the Subway of Downtown Clearfield Super Late Models, Townsend Gas and Oil RUSH Late Models, Schaeffer’s Oil RUSH Stock Cars/Pure Stocks, Texas Auto Ranch 4 Cylinders and Modified 4 Cylinders.
On July 22 the Schaeffer’s Oil Stock Cars/Pure Stocks take center stage for the second time this season in the Bill Sigafoes Memorial. 24 laps for $670 to win. The 358 Steel Block Late Models will also make their first visit this season.
On July 29 the PA Vintage Modifieds will be part of an exciting five division show.
