AFCS Sprint Series kicks off their 4th season this weekend as teams battle for over $91000 in 2022
3 min readWhen Attica Raceway Park opens its gates this Friday night, the Kistler Racing Products/ All Pro Aluminum Cylinder Heads Presented by the Baumann Auto Group AFCS 410 Sprint Series will kick off their 20 race season for 2022. An amazing $73,925 cash and prizes will be up for grabs over the 20 race campaign. A $29,000 points fund will once again award the 410 Championship Driver $10,000. A series record 15 events will pay $4000 or more to win. April 23rd, 29th, July 22nd and 23rd will be Big D’s Pizza of Clyde Bonus Nights paying $4000 to win. A new twist hits the AFCS 410 teams with a little mini series May 13th, May 14th, June 24th, and June 25th thanks to the Baumann Auto Group and J&F Construction and Development of Bucyrus. These four events will all pay $4000 to win with a boosted purse through out the entire A Main field. At the end of the four race mini series, a $1000 special unique points fund will award the top 4 drivers. Drivers will earn points not only for finishing upfront every time they hit the track, they will also earn points for every car they pass in the heats and all Main events, including B Mains. Once again, Janet Holbrook will be putting up $500 for the quickest 410 qualifying time on July 29th and July 30th in memory of George Fisher. As the season winds down in September, the AFCS 410 teams will be fighting for the biggest purse to date in series history at the Attica Ambush September 2nd and 3rd. Friday September 2nd kicks off the Ambush paying $5000 to win and $400 to start the A Main. Saturday September 3rd the purse will increase to $7000 to win and $500 to start the A Main. Championship Weekend September 9th and 10th will award the winner $4000 on Friday with our Championship Night standard $5000 to close the season. The other $4000 to win events take place on April 30th, May 21st, and July 9th.
The Napa Auto Parts of Bryan Presented by Jason Dietsch Trailer Sales AFCS 305 Sprint Series also kick off their 18 race 2022 season Friday night at Attica Raceway Park. Over the 18 races, the 305 teams will be chasing over $17,775 in cash and prizes. The $10,500 points fund will award the 305 Championship Driver $2700. As we stand right now, 5 events will pay $1000 to win for the 305 drivers in 2022. April 22nd will pay $1000 to win thanks to Gressman Powersports. Championship Weekend will see a pair of $1000 to win 305 events. Other scheduled $1000 to win shows take place on May 14th and July 9th.
