MOORESVILLE, N.C. (June 29, 2021) – The American Freedom 300 returns to the Jennerstown Speedway Complex for the second consecutive year on Saturday night to celebrate America’s birthday in Central Pennsylvania. This year’s field will not be the largest Super Late Model race attended all season; however, the talent that will be on site going for the $20,000 top prize is stacked with drivers attending from coast to coast. Drivers from ten different states from as far west as California, to the New England state of Maine, and even the Lonestar state of Texas will all be represented. In addition to 200 laps of Super Late Model racing with competition cautions and pit stops, a healthy field of twenty plus Jennerstown Pro Late Models are expected to be in attendance racing for one of the largest purses for championship track points this season.

QUICK HITS

Home track Fans Have Someone to Pull For

Albert Francis returns to the American Freedom 300 once again. Last year Francis scored a top ten finish in his first ever series start. After last year’s event, Francis went on to win the 2020 track championship at Jennerstown. This season Francis hopes to give his home track fans a little more to cheer for. A win is everyone’s goal, but with a talented field from across the country converging at his home track, an impressive top five finish would be a major improvement from a season ago.

Pollard Back in the Saddle, Looking to Repeat

Bubba Pollard made the decision to sit out a majority of the first half of the race season, choosing to help his family get Senoia Raceway, a family-owned dirt track, up and going for the 2021 season. Now Pollard is back and will be focused solely on repeating his performance from a season ago, winning the American Freedom 300 in dominating fashion. The Georgia racer has a knack for winning events that pay $10,000 or more to win. Luckily for Pollard this event has a big payday of $20,000. Will the short track superstar be able to make it $40,000 over the last two American Freedom 300 events?

New England Well Represented

The theme of various regions being represented continues with the New England region. Maine driver Garrett Hall, and New Hampshire native, Derek Griffith will be attendance and should be considered strong contenders for the $20,000 winner’s check. Both have experienced their fair share of success over the recent seasons. Hall has scored multiple PASS North Series wins as well as victories at the Oxford Plains Speedway. Griffith has been competing in the ARCA series this season, but also has made several Super Late Model starts. Three wins at the World Series at New Smyrna Speedway to kick off the season, and a PASS North victory at Thompson Speedway cannot go unnoticed as they are similar half mile tracks that Griffith has conquered this year alone.
