4 min readA couple of first time events will take to the Ohio Valley Speedway the next week including the Monster Truck Racing League this Friday, June 25th and next Friday Night, July 2nd we welcome the BOSS Non Wing Sprint Car Series to town for the first time ever!
Be sure to be at the Valley this Friday Night, June 25th for a Monster Truck invasion as the Ohio Valley Speedway will be the place to be for a Fun Family Night of entertainment. See Monster Trucks such as Amped Up, Walking Tall, Stomper in competition and be sure to catch a ride in Maximum Override. Plus don’t forget we have some awesome racing action on the card as well featuring the Mike’s Auto Body WRA Mini Wedges, UMP Modifieds, Pike Street Lanes Sportmods and Bill’s Auto Salvage 4 Cylinders. Gates open at 4pm with the action getting underway at 6pm. General admission is $15 with kids 4-10 $10 and kids 3 and under Free with Pit admission priced at $30.
Next Friday Night, July 2nd we welcome the BOSS Non-Wing Sprints to the Valley for a $2,000 to win show featuring some of the best open wheelers in sprint car racing. Going to be a great night of action along with all other weekly divisions.
🔥 POINT BATTLES CONTINUE TO RAGE ON: Lots of great point battles are being waged each and every Friday Night as we head into the heat of the summer. In the ultra-competitive late model division its Red House, WV’s Zach Hill currently leading Ronnie Mayle and Kyle Bond in the Las Trancas Mexican Restaurant Super Late Model division. Mineral Wells, WV Coleman Evans maintains his point lead in the UMP Modified division over Booger Garnes and Kenny Johnson chomping at the youngsters heels. In the Pike Street Lanes Sportmod division its the Bad1 of Brandon Davis holding down the top spot over two-time winner Toby Wilson and the ‘Marshal’ Pat Garrett. A very tight battle in the Bill’s Auto Salvage SCDRA 4 Cylinders currently sits with Justin Carpenter at the top followed by veteran Sam Dickel with young Kasey Rankin rounding out the top 3. In the youth league of auto racing also known as the Mike’s Auto Body WRA Mini Wedge its Isaac McLeish besting Keith Powell and Stephen Sutler in the Veteran class. In the Young Gun division its Logan Perine holding off Bryson Long and Cruz Thomas for the top spot.

⚠️ ALERT….SCHEDULE ADJUSTMENTS: With Mother Nature wrecking havoc on the 1st half of the Ohio Valley Speedway schedule a few adjustments have needed to be made. The previously rained out Drivers Appreciation Night featuring the Steel Block Late Model Series has been rescheduled to Friday Night, August 13th as part of our ‘Freaky Fast’ Friday the 13th program. We look forward to turning the Ohio Valley Speedway into a Spooktacular looking venue and welcoming the regions best racers to the Valley where once again the division with the most cars will race for $2,000 to win.
The management is also excited to announce the rescheduling of ‘Autograph Night’ as the previously rained out event will now take place on Friday Night, July 9th. Don’t leave the kids at the house for this one as not only will the kids hit the track at intermission to get their favorite racers picture and autograph but it is also our annual Bike Giveaway as well.
