Parsons, Callahan & Summerville Victorious At Hilltop

Racing is in the air as the Snyder Hot Shot Truck and Trailer modlites, CPR mini stocks and enduro divisions made their way to Hilltop Speedway, Saturday afternoon for little racing action before next week’s official opening night.
The first feature of the night were the CPR mini stocks where Billy Parsons would drive his way to his first feature win of the season. Parsons would secure his lead after a green to check battle over Colton St John and Doug Hensel. Ed Geary and Mitch Reichard would round out the top five. Heat race wins went to St. John and Parsons.
Next to roll out onto the track were the Snyder Hot Shot Truck and Trailer modlites with a field of twenty-nine. After a 15-lap feature and a heat race win, Tim Callahan would park it in victory lane picking up his first feature win. Callahan would fend off challenger Joe Burkhead to lead every lap. Picking up third was Reece Bollinger followed by Jon Preston and Zach Kimberew. Each of the other three heat race wins would go to Darrell Mayer, Darrick Hubbard Jr and Jon Preston.
Rounding out the afternoon’s events was the 10-lap enduro race where Bill Summerville would pick up the $500 win.
