With today’s announcement of the two Dog Hollow Speedway events being removed from the 2019 ULMS Speedweek Hell Tour, Thunder Mountain Speedway stepped up to fill the July 3rd date.

ULMS Racing Series, owner, Chris Zuver stated, With the announcement of the two Dog Hollow dates being removed from our schedule today, Rob Leonard contacted me in deep interest in picking up the July 3rd date on the Hell Tour. I cannot express my gratitude enough to Rob and Maria for stepping up and helping out on the Hell Tour at such a late notice and I truly hope the race fans and teams come out and support this event in a big way.”

Thunder Mountain will be the second stop on the ULMS Hell Tour, which kicks off this Sunday at Old Bradford Speedway. Monday and Tuesday are off days and then Wednesday night the Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series will be at Thunder Mountain for night 2 of the Hell Tour. The series is still in talks with another track to fill the July 4th date. The final three events will be at Freedom Motorsports Park on Friday July 5th followed by visits to Stateline Speedway and Eriez Speedway.

ULMS Racing Series procedures will be in place, which includes time trials, minimum 8 lap qualifying heat events, consolation events (if needed) and 30 lap main event (exception for Bradford being 40 laps). Time Trials per ULMS rules will be the following: 3 heats will be straight up; 4 heats will result in A&B group qualifying. If there are 4 heats or less, the top 2 heat finishers will redraw for their feature starting positions, otherwise, heat winner only will redraw (5 or 6 heats).

The ULMS Late Model Series tire rule is Hoosier 1300 or American Racer 44 or harder on all 4 corners. All late model teams must present their cars along with safety equipment (helmet and Hans device if they have not participated with ULMS in 2019 or entering a different car) at pre-race safety and car inspection.

Thunder Mountain and Freedom Motorsports Park will utilize the AMB/Mylaps Transponder, while Stateline and Eriez both Westhold and AMB/Mylaps can be used. Old Bradford Speedway transponder brand will be announced in the near future. All teams must present their transponder number to series officials upon registration. Raceivers are mandatory during all Zimmer Service Center ULMS Late Model Series action.

No cars will be allowed on the track before completing tech. Any driver late for tech will get one lap in qualifying once they complete and pass pre-race tech.

ULMS Integra Shocks Qualifying Time Trials (2 cars at a time) will be held to determine the qualifying heat race lineups. ULMS Entry Fee for each Hell Tour event is $40.

The Point Fund for the ULMS Hell Tour is based on all six events being completed.
