Bud Weigle Memorial Set To Kickoff 56th Annual Tyler County Fair

(Middlebourne, WV) After a scheduled mid-season off week the Tyler County Speedway will roar back into action this Saturday Night, July 28th for the Annual Bud Weigle Memorial. The event in honor of popular longtime track promoter and supporter of the ‘Bullring’ will also serve as a kickoff to the 56th Annual Tyler County Fair with a special night of intense action filled racing at America’s Baddest Bullring.

With just three races left before the upcoming and monumental 50th Annual Hillbilly 100 Labor Day weekend racers will be heading to the hills to tuneup for the biggest racing weekend in West Virginia history. Also just three chances left to make-up ground or separate yourself in the race for the all important 2018 track point standings. A complete program featuring a $1,500 to win Bud Weigle Memorial for the J&R Excavating Super Late Models presented by Midcap Land and Timber plus the 2 Brothers Motorsports AMRA Modifieds will square off for $1,000 to win. Rounding out the card will be the Appalachian Mineral Title Company FASTRAK Late Models, Sigler Fabrication EDGE Hotmods, Jenkins Auto Parts Modlites, Sport Compacts and the Gear 2 Graphic MWRA Mini Wedges.

Gates open at 4pm, with MWRA Mini Wedges getting underway at 6pm, hotlaps begin at 6:45pm and racing gets underway at 7:30. General admission is just $12 while pit admission is $30. Bring your family, friends and neighbors and support local short track racing at America’s Baddest Bullring!

Americas Baddest Bullring is located in Middlebourne, WV is a ¼ mile dirt oval nestled in the hills of scenic West Virginia along the historic Middle Island Creek. On site camping makes the Tyler County Speedway/Fairgrounds a race fans vacation destination year after year. Lots of great camping available including primitive or full hook ups. Ideal for a weekend getaway or a day of family fun, the fairground has shower facilities, shelters for picnicking, playground areas, and nearby fishing available.
