Shetler Wins Lernerville Thriller
3 min readSarver, PA (April 28, 2017) The Fab Four Fueled by Turner’s Premium Iced Tea took center stage once again on Friday night and saw three thrilling feature events come to completion before the action was halted by rain before the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar/RUSH Pro Stock feature completed a lap.
Dan Shetler saw his hard work rewarded with good luck as he raced his way past invading Central PA driver Jason Shultz en route to his first feature win in several years in the Peoples Natural Gas DIRTcar Sprint feature. The Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models took to the track for the first time in 2017 and at the end of 25 laps, Michael Norris was left holding the trophy for the eighth time in his career.
Mat Williamson continued his hot start to the season by going back to back in the Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds to visit Terry Bowser Excavating Victory Lane for the second straight week. And then, Mother Nature took over as persistent showers claimed the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar/RUSH Pro Stocks. The 20-lap feature will be made up on Friday, May 12.
