Brushcreek’s 17th Season Set to Open May 6th 2017

(Peebles, OH) With the off-season well underway race teams are preparing their cars, fans are preparing their vacations and tracks are preparing their schedules for the upcoming 2017 season. With this time of the year typically bringing unknowns when it comes to weekly racing at local tracks, one this is certain, the Brushcreek Motorsports Complex is ready for their 17th Year of racing action. The Adams County, OH 3/10 Mile track opened its gates for the first time in June of 2001 and has every year since under the eye of the Partin family who still operates the track today. The track ended its 2016 season just over a month and a half ago crowning three champions in their Winner Take All Championship 4 Style format. Drivers are looking to defend and other a looking to defeat in 2017. Today, track officials set the 2017 Starting event in stone where drivers will begin their search for a Championship.

The 17th Consecutive racing season in Peebles, OH will get under way on Saturday May 6th, 2017! Fans will be greeted by a Full Show of all the regular racing classes PLUS a Fireworks show and the first 100 Lap Enduro of the year! “The Season Opener has become a fan favorite the past few years” says Promoter Steven Partin “Not only are we starting a race season but the addition of a fireworks show and the always Exciting Enduro has raised the interest just that much”.

On the 6th The Pit Gates will Open at 4:00 PM allowing teams to get things ready for their first stint on track. The General Admission area will open at 5:00 PM. New in 2017, Driver Registration will end at 6:15 PM (slightly earlier than before). The Mandatory Drivers meeting will take place at 6:30 PM with Hot Laps/Group Qualifying soon to follow at 7:00 PM. All action will cease in its place to allow for the Fireworks show which is scheduled for 9:30 PM. The 100 Lap Enduro will take place after the final race of the night finishes.

The full 2017 Schedule is still being worked on but is slated to look similar to the 2016 edition. Fans can also expect the traditional Firestorm to Return to its July 3rd date which in 2017 is on a Monday Night. The Buckeye Late Model Dirt Week dates are still being finalized with series officials as well but the $3,000 to win Late Model event is making a return for the 3rd Year in a row.
