Ike Moler Memorial Goes Next For American Late Model Iron-Man Series

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (September 9, 2024)- The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels is set to make its final visit of the season to MRP Raceway Park in Williamsburg, OH on Friday September 13 for the track’s 17th Annual Ike Moler Memorial, with the event paying $5,000 to win and $500 to start.

The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will be at MRP Raceway Park on Friday September 13 for the 17th Annual Ike Moler Memorial and will be featured in a full program of Todd Steel Buildings “Building Speed” Hot Laps, E-Z-GO Time Trials presented by Brucebilt Performance Parts, Heat, STAKT Products B-Mains, and the 40-lap, $5,000 to win/$500 to start 17th Annual Ike Moler Memorial Valvoline A-Main event. Other divisions in competition at MRP Raceway Park for the Ike Moler Memorial on Friday September 13 will be the track’s Sport Mods ($600 to win), Compacts ($400 to win), Legends ($300 to win), and Crown Vics ($200 to win).

Activities at MRP Raceway Park for the 17th Annual Ike Moler Memorial on Friday September 13 will see the pit area open at 4:00 p.m. and the general admission area will open at 5:00 p.m. The driver’s meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., with hot laps and time trials beginning at 7:00 p.m. Ticket prices at MRP Raceway Park for the 17th Annual Ike Moler Memorial on Friday September 13 in the general admission area will be $20 for adults, while a pit pass will be $40.

The Valvoline Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will sanction the Super Late Model portion of the event and the tire rule will be as follows: Fronts/Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 and Hoosier NLMT 3; Right Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2, NLMT 3, and Hoosier NLMT 4 (there is no limit on the number of tires used; the droop rule will be in effect, along with the Unified Dirt Late Model Car Construction rules). The entry fee for this event is $50 and transponders for timing/scoring will be available for rent at the track. Any driver that does not transfer from a B-Main will receive $75 tow money.

In the tour’s previous visits to MRP Raceway Park this season, Zack Dohm of Cross Lanes, WV would be victorious on June 14 over Josh Rice of Crittenden, KY, James Rice of Crittenden, KY, Cody Mahoney of Hanover, IN, and Rusty Schlenk of McClure, OH. Nick Hoffman of Mooresville, NC won the Dustbuster 40 back on July 19 over Josh Rice of Crittenden, KY, Jason Jameson of Lawrenceburg, IN, R.J. Conley of Wheelersburg, OH, and Devin Gilpin of Columbus, IN. Rod Conley of Wheelersburg, OH is the defending champion of the Ike Moler Memorial, winning the 2023 event over James Rice of Crittenden, KY, R.J. Conley of Wheelersburg, OH, Devin Gilpin of Columbus, IN, and Tyler Collins of North Vernon, IN.
