American Late Model Iron-Man Series Invades Eldora Speedway For 16th Annual Baltes Classic

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (August 28, 2024)- The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will conclude the 2024 Labor Day Weekend of racing at Eldora Speedway for the track’s 16th Annual Baltes Classic presented by Coors Light, with Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series competitors in action for thirty laps in the $5,000-to-win and $600-to-start main event.

The 16th Annual Baltes Classic presented by Coors Light at Eldora Speedway on Sunday September 1 kicks off a full week of Dirt Late Model racing action, as the Castrol FloRacing Night in America Series visits on Wednesday September 4, followed by the 54th running of the World 100 for DIRTcar Late Models Thursday through Saturday September 5-September 7.

The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will be in competition at Eldora Speedway on Sunday September 1 and will be featured in a full program of Todd’s Steel Buildings “Building Speed” Hot Laps, E-Z-GO Time Trials presented by Brucebilt Performance Parts, Heat Races, STAKT Products B-Mains, and the 30-lap, $5,000 to win/$500 to start 16th Annual Baltes Classic presented by Coors Light Valvoline A-Main feature event. Also racing with the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels at Eldora Speedway on Sunday September 1 will be the track’s UMP DIRTcar Modifieds and Super Stocks.

Activities for the 16th Annual Baltes Classic at Eldora Speedway on Sunday September 1 will see the pit area open at 3:00 p.m., while the general admission area will open at 4:00 p.m. The drivers meeting will be at 6:00 p.m., with hot laps and time trials getting underway at 6:30 p.m., with racing taking the green flag at 8:00 p.m. Ticket prices for the 16th Annual Baltes Classic presented by Coors Light at Eldora Speedway in the general admission area will be $20 for adults ($25 for adult reserved seats), with children ages 13 and under free ($10 for children reserved seats). A pit pass will be $30.

The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will sanction the Super Late Model portion of the event and the tire rule will be as follows: Fronts/Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 and Hoosier NLMT 3; Right Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2, Hoosier NLMT 3, and Hoosier NLMT 4 (there is no limit on the number of tires used; the droop rule will be in effect, along with the Unified Dirt Late Model Car Construction rules). The entry fee for the event is $50 and transponders for timing/scoring will be available for rent at the track. B-Main Money for non-transfers will be $125.
