Santee, Reinwald, Eucker, Wolbert & Downes All Cash In Raceway 7 Victories

To start the evenings feature events, it was all 2021 Points Champion and local favorite Breyton Santee in the Evergreen Lake Park Campground RUSH Crate Late Models. Santee would jump from his outside pole position to cruise to his first Raceway 7 Evergreen Lake Park Campground RUSH Crate Late Model win of the young season. Cambridge Springs, PA’s Khole Wanzer in his best run as of late was 2nd, Orwell’s Cory Sines was 3rd, opening night winner Billy Henry was 4th, as Gary Youngs would round out the top 5.

Up next to hit the Smooth 7/16 of a mile semi-banked clay oval would be the hefty field of Lakeview Ford Econo Mods. 2023 Points Champion Jake Eucker would use a lap 7 restart to move around leader Garrett Calvert to post back-to-back victories in the Lakeview Ford Econo Mods. Eucker would also move up the divisions win list with his 9th career victory in the tracks 13 year old class. Calvert would settle for 2nd, as Carter Bidwell, Zach Etzel after going to the tail earlier in the event, and Casey Harmon would round out the top 5.

Wheelman Chas Wolbert would not be denied in the Bonnell’s Truck & RV RUSH Modifieds going flag to flag for his first Raceway 7 Bonnell’s Truck & RV RUSH Modified win of 2024, and his 6th career victory in the class at the Ashtabula County Ohio oval. Opening night winner and 2020 Points Champion Rob Kristyak was 2nd, Burghill’s JC Boyer was 3rd, Kole Holden was 4th, and as former Renegade Dirt Car Series Super Late Model traveler Bill Cunningham was 5th.

Waterford, PA’s Eric Reinwald would finally get the monkey off his back, picking up his first ever Campbell’s Mini Storage UMP Modifed feature wins at Raceway 7. Reinwald would weather a few late race cautions to secure his first win at Raceway 7, since September 15, 2018, which was in the tracks Econo Mod class. 2023 champion Nate Young would have to settle for 2nd, the divisions all time winner Joel Watson was 3rd, Albion’s Dennis Lunger was 4th, as Casey Bowers would round out the events top 5.

In the nightcap it was all Zach Downes in McDonald Meats Min Stocks. Downes would have no problem securing his first Raceway 7 McDonald Meats Mini Stock main event of 24’, as well as his 19th career victory in the class. Scott Gill would muscle his way through the field late in the race finishing 2nd, Derrick Randolph had another fine run finishing 3rd, as Mike Barr was 4th and 2023 winner Alexis Vogt would round out the top 5.
