Mother Nature Takes Another Win at Dog Hollow
2 min readSTRONGSTOWN, PA (July 1, 2022) – Mother Nature has won again at Dog Hollow Speedway. With rain all around and many down pours management has decided it was best to call the show. ULMS will be looking to reschedule their shows if a date can be agreed by track and series.
The RUSH Touring Series Event is rescheduled for Friday, August 5.
“We hate to do this but we can’t catch a break with the weather,” said Co-Promoter Mark McClellan. “We know there are fans coming in from long distances and want to give them enough notice. Fortunetly both Series have shows close by tomorrow. The ULMS will be over at Marion Center for a $5000 to win show and the RUSH will be at PPMS for a show.”
“Last year we had over a three hour rain delay for this show and didn’t want to put the fans through that again,” said Co-Promoter Kyle Smith. “We’ve been working hard on this track all week and it goes down the drain with the bad forecast. We don’t want fans waisting gas and many can’t afford to do that.”
Promoters Mark McClellan and Kyle Smith will work with Chris Zuver to see if there is an available date to reschedule their events.
