Statesville, North Carolina (June 14, 2022) – Upon request from Jennerstown Speedway Complex management, the Super Cup Stock Car Series has moved its next scheduled event to one week later. The July 16th races will accommodate the formal presentation and recognition that will now take place on July 9th to celebrate the facility’s recently earned $50,000 grand prize in the Advance My Track Challenge community engagement-based program.

The SCSCS wishes to congratulate all involved on such an extraordinary honor that will be invested into the track’s continued and incredibly bright future for years to come. The new date also gives series competitors an additional week to make necessary preparations, in which availability and commitments are already looking quite promising.

Less than three weeks following Jennerstown, the series heads south for a potential once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. On Friday, August 5th and Saturday, August 6th, North Wilkesboro Speedway in North Carolina hosts their “Throwback Weekend” as part of the Racetrack Revival program during the month of August on the pavement of the 5/8-mile oval. Several more details, such as weekend schedule, supporting classes and other incentives, will be announced as soon as they are confirmed.

From there, the standings, which are already separated by less than 10 between the top two, will be adjusted to drop a driver’s worst two performances up until that point. Radford, Virginia’s Motor Mile Speedway, in its second year with the series, will be next on Saturday, August 20th. The 2022 schedule is rounded out with another trip to the Laurel Highlands region of Pennsylvania at Jennerstown on Saturday, September 10th and championship weekend on Saturday, October 1st at Thornburg, Virginia’s Dominion Raceway.

Additional information will also be announced very soon regarding which races are slated to be filmed as part of the continuing relationship with Pit Row TV and MAVTV Motorsports Network.

More upcoming updates will be available at the official web site at supercupstockcarseries.com as well as the Super Cup Stock Car Series Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages.
