14th Annual Greg Schilling Memorial Set for Ohio Valley Speedway Friday Night

The regions most prestigious UMP Modified event will take center stage at the Ohio Valley Speedway this Friday Night, June 24th. The 14th Annual Greg Schilling Memorial will pay tribute to former friend and driver of the familiar #99 modified that graced many victory lanes in the Mid-Ohio Valley racing scene. A who’s who of regional open wheel racers are expected to vie for the coveted trophy and if the 2022 racing season is any indication, it’s anyone’s guess who will be parked in the KMA Auto Victory Lane. So far, OVS has had five different winners in five main events including; Cole Perine, Coleman Evans, Kenny Johnson, Kyle Bond and KC Burdette have each graced victory lane.

2022 14th Annual Greg Schilling Memorial Feature Payout: $1499, $1299, $1199, $1099, $999, $899, $799, $699, $599, $499, $399, $299 and $199 to start the main event with $99 non-qualifier money.

As if the Greg Schilling Memorial isn’t reason enough to head to the Valley on Friday Night, we have ‘Double Features’ in the Las Trancas Super Late Models and Pike Street Lanes Sportmod divisions. The rained out features from June 10th will set up a double bill for the two divisions along with a complete regular night of racing for the Bill’s Auto Salvage SCDRA 4 Cylinders and Mike’s Auto Body WRA Mini Wedges.

Gates will open at 4pm, with mini wedges getting underway at 6pm and hotlap/qualifying taking the green at 7pm. General admission is $20 with kids 10 and under free and pit admission is $35.

Ohio Valley Speedway is a fast 3/8th mile dirt track located just south of Lubeck, WV on Rt. 68 South at Wadesville Road.
