With a little help from Mother Nature, the Ohio Valley Speedway successfully opened the gates on the 2022 season this past Friday Night to a great crowd. Don’t miss this Friday Night, April 22nd as the ‘Valley’ presents a Spring SprintCar Spectacular featuring the stars and cars of the OVSCA Winged 410 Sprint Car Series. A sprint car show at Ohio Valley Speedway is always ‘must see’ action and this week will be no different as the OVSCA rolls into town for their first race of the season. Can the 2021 OVSCA Champion, Tyler Street repeat in 2022 or will a host of hungry eager racers take down the formidable champion?

Gates will open at 4pm, with Mini Wedges getting underway at 6pm, drivers meeting at 6:30pm with Hotlaps/Qualifying to follow. General admission is just $15 with kids 10 and under free and Pit Passes priced at $30.

Racing action in the Las Trancas Super Late Models, Polymer Services UMP Modifieds, Pike Street Lanes Sportmods, Bill’s Auto Salvage SCDRA 4 Cylinders and Mike’s Auto Body WRA Mini Wedges are also on the card

Great racing action during the Season Opener as Kyle Thomas outdueled Colten Burdette to snag the Las Trancas Super Late Models while Cole Perine wrangled the Polymer Services UMP Modified Main. In the Pike Street Lanes Sportmods a three car race long battle would see Kendall Hodge get the trip to the KMA Auto Victory Lane with a last lap turn 4 pass of Brandon Patton. It was Chris Dyer dominating the Bill’s Auto Salvage SCDRA 4 Cylinder class while Bryson Long and Mack Brookover scored Mike’s Auto Body Mini Wedge feature events.
