2 min readSTRONGSTOWN, PA (July 18, 2021) – E-Mods (UMP Rules) and 358 Steel Blocks (Thunder Mtn/Bedford Rules) will be in the spotlight on Friday, July 23. Both races will pay $1200 to win and $100 to start. Joining them on the special show will be Texas Auto Ranch 4 Cylinders, AMSOIL/Ron’s Collision Center RUSH Stock Cars and the return of the PA Thunder on Dirt Vintage Modified Series. This past Friday, July 16 saw Mother Nature wipe out the show.
The E- Mods will make their second appearance of the season this Friday. On their last appearance on June 18, Youngsville, OH’s Steve Rex scored his first at the northern cambria oval. A good field of cars are expected for the show.
The 358 Steel Blocks (Thunder Mtn/Bedford Rules) will also share the spotlight this Friday. The biggest winner in the class when it last ran at Dog was Nate Smith, who has seven wins in the class. It should be a wide open field with no other local tracks running either division.
The Texas Auto Ranch 4 Cylinders have only had one repeat winner this season and that was Mike Phillipson. This class is always super competitive and has plenty of racing action.
The PA Thunder on the Dirt Vintage Modified Series makes it’s second appearance of the 2021 season. Cody Schultz won the modified portion of the show last time out and the sportsman was won be John Marks. The older vintage cars are always fun to watch and give you a little visit of racing in the past.
The AMSOIL/Ron’s Collision Center RUSH Stocks cars will round out the field. This new class is just getting started and the feature wins have been shared by Bob Torquato and Jeremy Zufall so far this season.
