Firecracker 150 Classic Set For This Wednesday At Midvale

THIS Wednesday July 3rd will be our annual Firecracker 150 Classic with the BEST Fireworks show around!!!!

Here is the info you will need:

DIVISIONS:
– Outlaw Super Late Model’s
– Open Modified’s
– Open Street Stock’s
– Open Compact’s
** (Open means that you MUST meet the rules for the following tracks: Midvale, Barberton, Painsville, Lorain or Sandusky).

TIMES:
– Pits Open at Noon.
– Hot Laps starting at 1:00 and will be in rotating order.
– Grandstands open at 2.
– Qualifying is at 5:30 and will be group qualifying for ALL Divisions.
– Racing takes the GREEN FLAG at 7:00
– THE BEST FIREWORKS SHOW AROUND will take place near dusk and depending on how the program is running.

COST:
– Pit Admission is $35 – Grandstand: Adults – $20, Seniors – $15, Students (14-17) – $12, Kids (6-13) – $5, Children 5 and under are FREE!!

COOLERS:
Small 6 pack and backpack type coolers are allowed. NO GLASS and NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL. Coolers MUST be stored UNDER your seat, NOT in the isle or walkway and NOT on the seats. The Beverage Barn will be open with multiple choices for your Adult needs.

CHAIRS:
All of our seats lower section seats have backs on them, but your more than welcome to bring a cushion or stadium seat with you for the upper or lower sections. You may also bring a bag chair and sit along the picnic tables and cables in turn 4. WE ASK THAT YOU PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL TO YOUR FELLOW FANS. DO NOT put bag chairs in front of bleachers, in isle ways or walk ways. You will be asked to move them!! We also ask that you DO NOT sit on any cables, posts or walls for your safety. We also ask you to BE RESPECTFUL of the Family Section. Midvale PD will be on the lookout for anyone smoking or drinking in the Family Section (section closest to turn 1 with the handicapped access and it is marked with signs).

TRANSPONDERS AND RADIOS
– We will have Transponders available for rent for $10, while they last. We ask that you bring one if you have 1 or have access to 1. We run the YELLOW Westhold’s. They must be placed in a pouch with the lights facing down towards the track and on the rear axle.
– 2-Way radio’s will be allowed for the OSLM ONLY!! Everyone else will need to have a scanner with the frequency 454.0000 punched in, so we can communicate the lineups, restart order and directions if need be.

CAMPING
Due to the amount of parking space needed, camping will be limited and will be 1st come 1st serve along the tree lines in the main field. We do not have water, electric or sewer hookup and you are responsible to keep your area cleaned up and your responsible for any fire that you have.

PARKING
Handicapped and motorcycle parking unfortunately is limited. It is on a first come, first serve basis. We will be running “Thunder Express 1 and 2” (our new train shuttles) for those that may have to park at the School or in town.

TRAFFIC
Midvale PD and the Ohio State Highway Patrol do an OUTSTANDING job of keeping things moving in and out of the Speedway. The ONLY issue we have ever had, was 2 years ago when we got a huge downpour in the middle of the show and had to push it to the next day. Everyone was trying to get out at the same time. That has been the only issue we have had. If you are a little patient, everything will move smoothly!!

PAYOUTS
OSLM (60 lap Feature) – $2500, $1300, $1100, $1000, $900, $800, $700, $650, $600, $550, $450, $400 on back to 20th.
Open Mod (35 lap Feature) – $1500, $1100, $900, $800, $700, $600, $500, $450, $400, $350, $300, $250, $200 on back to 22nd.
Open SS (30 lap Feature) – $800, $600, $500, $350, $300, $250, $200, $150, $130, $120, $100 on back to 20th.
Open C (25 lap A-Main, 15 lap B-Main) – A-Main (top 16) – $250, $150, $100, $90, $80, $70, $60, $50, $40, $30, $25 on back.
B-Main – $75, $50, $40, $30, $25, $20, $15 on back.

OSLM – $100
Open Mod – $75
Open SS – $50
Open C – $25
