Raceway 7 Mini Stocks To Race For $400 This Friday

Conneaut, OH (May 16, 2019) —After a wet spring that left grounds saturated, Raceway 7 will again attempt to get the 2019 stock car racing season underway this Friday. The Sunnyside Farm Transit Mini Stocks will be in the spotlight this week for a 15-lap, $400 to win special. The defending race champion Zach Downes is expected to return to defend his title against defending season champion Dillon Speer as well as 2017 champion Joe oCampbell and 2018 race winner Jim Haefke Jr. Twenty-four cars will qualify for the event using heats and a B-Main to determine starting positions.

All other divisions will compete in a regular program of heats and features.

Racing will begin promptly at 7:30 PM for the Evergreen Lake Park Campground RUSH Late Models (2018 Champion Darrell Bossard), the Bonnell’s Collision Center E-Mods (2018 Champion Troy Johnson), the Bonnell’s Auto Sales Economods (2018 Champion Eric Reinwald), the Campbell Mini Storage Street Stocks (2018 Champion Paul Schreckengost), and the Sunnyside Farm Transit Mini Stocks (2018 Champion Dillon Speer).

Raceway 7 is located six miles south of Interstate 90 on Route 7 in the town of Monroe Center, OH and races every Friday night May — September. Racing begins at 7:30 PM every Friday. General admission for regular events is $10 and children 7-14 admitted for $5 each. Kids 6 and under are always free. NO PETS are admitted to the track! Fan and pit gates open at 5:30 PM. Pit admission is $25 with minimum age 18. Children under 18 admitted with a “Minor Release” form available at pit gate that must be filled out by a parent accompanying the youth.
