(March 3, 2019) – The roar of Lorain County Speedway (LCS) is back and better than ever in 2019, as The County plays host to a combination of fan-favorites, including the ground-pounding action of the North Coast Modifieds, kids events, and the first time McCormick’s CRS Super Truck Series.
Highlighted by the annual Midwest Supermodified Series (MSS) on June 8th and again on September 20th, the historic speedway will showcase the thunderous engines and extreme speeds of these exotic machines. Modifieds, Crate Sprints, Grand Nationals/Street Stocks and FWD Chargers will create an exceptional weekly experience for the race fan and plenty of high-performance thrills for the entire family. Crate Sprints will once again be competing every other week.
New for the 2019 season, Lorain County Speedway welcomes the McCormick’s CRS Super Truck Series to its season schedule. Bobby Dale Earnhardt/Earnhardt Racing will join the competitor ranks of the truck series. Make sure you mark this race as a must-see event!
Pre-season Test, Tune & Pit Pad Renewal will be on Saturday April 6th and 13th, and then the season kicks off with Opening Day on April 20th racing all divisions. The grand finale of the 2019 racing season will be the prestigious Cavalcade Festival of Speed on October 11th, 12th & 13th.
FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER, 2019 standard event tickets are just $9.99, and as always, kids 12-and-under are always free, and on certain special events, LCS will provide all guests a free upgrade to unparalleled access to drivers and teams throughout the event with all-access passes.
