The addition of Thunder Mountain Speedway to the schedule just got a whole lot bigger as not only will the Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series be coming to the race track on September 27th for a $4,000-to-win, $400-to-start event, but the following night Ultimate Northeast will sanction the 15th annual Stephanie Eckl Memorial at Thunder Mountain. The prestigious event will pay $7,000-to-win and $400-to-start. This will make for one huge weekend for the Ultimate Northeast Super Late Model Series and Thunder Mountain Speedway.

The event will be the 15th annual Stephanie Eckl Memorial, and Stephanie’s father Greg does a tremendous job building the purse for this event in honor of his daughter. The purse for the event is not fully set at $7,000-to-win as the purse has an opportunity to grow.

“We are thrilled to be a part of such a big weekend for Thunder Mountain Speedway and more importantly the Eckl family. The Stephanie Eckl Memorial is one of the most tremendous memorial races throughout the entire state of Pennsylvania, and Ultimate Northeast is happy to be a part of this and to honor the memory of Stephanie with this event,” said Ultimate Northeast regional director Rose Compton.

The event will be a big weekend for all parties involved including the Eckl family, Thunder Mountain Speedway and R and M Motorsports and Ultimate Northeast. We look forward to a great weekend of racing.
