Midway Speedway’s 36th Annual Jim Dunn Memorial Reset For Saturday October 6th
1 min readAfter being rained out twice over Memorial Day Weekend, the 36th annual running of the historic Jim Dunn Memorial at Midway Speedway has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 6th.
“We wanted to pick a date that worked best for everyone involved,” event promoter Michael Gibson said. “We looked at several options, but October 6th is the one we kept circling back to and kept getting the most positive feedback on.”
The tentative schedule for the $10,000 to win event will see all gates open at 2:00pm with the drivers meeting slated for 5:00pm and hot laps to follow.
Fans who purchased their armbands prior to Saturday’s cancellation are reminded to keep those for entry into the Saturday, October 6th make-up race.
Should inclement weather once again be a factor, the event will have a rain date of Sunday, October 7th.
For more information on the event, fans and drivers are encouraged to visit Midway Speedway’s Facebook page throughout the summer.
