Advanced admission tickets to the September 28th & 29th 2018, inaugural Bedford Keystone Cup for the Late Models are available for purchase from the speedway. The Keystone Cup Late Model winner will take home $15,000, part of an A-Main purse of over $54,000, the largest payout in Bedford history. The lucrative purse will pay $1000 to start the feature.
All advance two- day race tickets purchased before September 15th are now on sale for $40, which includes a $5.00 discount for buying them in advance.
Friday only grandstand tickets are available for $15, Saturday only for $30. Two day advance tickets are $40 with the advanced discount.
Reserved seats to the event are also on sale for $5.00 for the weekend. Bedford fans who already have season reserved seats in the grandstands can use them that weekend as well. Tickets and reserved seats can be purchased by calling the speedway office at 814-623-0500, by emailing joepadula07@gmail.com or at the speedway turn one t-shirt stand during race nights. Cash, check or credit is accepted. The cutoff for advance sales is September 15th.
Camping is free at the speedway without a hookup; there is a $20/night fee for campers wishing to use a water/ electric hookup. Reservations are not needed to camp as there is plenty of camping space available.
The Late Model portion of the event will feature Friday night qualifying, semi features and a dash for the top qualifiers. Saturday night will be Late Model B-Mains followed by the 50 lap, $15,000 to win main event.
As is Bedford policy there will be no entry fees for any driver. Special awards will also be given to the overall fast timer, as well as each qualifier winner.
The two day show will feature Late Models in action on both Friday and Saturday. They will be joined by a complete show for the Semi Lates and Pure Stocks on Friday, and a complete show for the Late Model Sportsman and Modifieds on Saturday.
Bedford Speedway hosted its first auto race on September 5th 1936, with Depression-era star Billy Winn taking the win. Over the past 82 years the track has hosted some of the greatest names in racing history. The speedway is located at the intersection of I-99 & US 30, with easy access from PA Turnpike exit 146, just blocks from beautiful downtown Bedford, PA.
