BRP Modified Tour Set To Kick-Off 2018 Tyler County Speedway Season

America’s Baddest Bullring also known as the Tyler County Speedway will be the place to be this Saturday Night, April 14th as the official kickoff to the 44th season of dirt track racing takes the green flag. A huge night of three and four wide action that has become the custom at the Middlebourne, WV high bank oval will be on the docket highlighted by the return of the Northeast BRP Big Block Modified Tour.

The always exciting BRP Modified Tour will kick off their 2018 season in the Mountain State. It will be trip #5 for the BRP Mod Tour to the Bullring and capturing wins previously were Kevin Bolland, Brian Swartzlander, Rex King Jr., and last years winner and series champion Erick Rudolph, currently on an eight race tour winning streak. A stout field of the groundpounding big blocks are expected as the Modified Tour brings cars from the Northeast that regularly participates at the Sharon Speedway, Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Speedway among others.

All other classes will be on the card as well featuring the J&R Excavating Super Lates presented by Midcap Land & Timber, Appalachian Mineral Title Company FASTRAK Late Models, 2 Brothers Motorsports AMRA Modifieds, Sigler Fabrication EDGE Hotmods presented by Poske Performance Parts, Jenkins Auto Parts Modlites, Sport Compacts and Gear 2 Graphic MWRA Mini Wedges.

Gates will open an hour earlier than normal at 3pm to allow for the ease of opening night registration. The MWRA Mini Wedges will take to the track at 6pm followed by hotlaps and qualifying at 6:45. General admission is $18, with children 10 and under free while parking is always free and pit credentials are $35.
