Sharon Announces Fan Friendly Ticket Program

Hartford, OH February 16, 2017 With the 88th anniversary season about two months away, Sharon Speedway is excited to announce a new ticketing program for special events for the upcoming season. In addition, fans will have the ability to purchase tickets for VIP or patio seating on a nightly basis.

The 2017 season will get underway on Friday, April 21 with inaugural appearance by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. Tony Stewart’s Arctic Car All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars will make two appearance; the first on Tuesday, June 20 for Ohio Speedweek and then again on Saturday, July 8 for the ninth annual “Lou Blaney Memorial. The Super DIRTcar Series for Big-Block Modifieds return for the second straight year on Thursday, July 20.

General admission and reserved seating is $25 for the Lucas Oil, Ohio Speedweek and Lou Blaney Memorial, and $20 for the Super DIRTcar show. Fans will be able to log onto SharonSpeedway.com and click on the purchase tickets link. From there, you’ll be able to purchase tickets and now be able to either print at home or download on your smartphones- a great new convenience! Fans will continue to be able to purchase advance general admission tickets as well.

Also, new VIP suite and patio seating will be available for the 2017 season. These can be purchased online as well for the special events or upgraded nightly at the track office. You may also call ahead of time to purchase for a particular night.

The VIP seating is an additional $20 over the cost of general admission ticket pricing and features an enclosed, climate-controlled suite that will have 16 seats available for purchase each night this year. This large suite is located on the third floor, and has a restroom exclusively for this level. This is the best seat in the house! There’s eight chairs up front with a drink ledge and eight bistro-style chairs with tables behind.

Patio seating is just $5 over the cost of general admission ticket pricing. This is located at the top of the covered grandstand where you can sit comfortably with extra leg room in director chairs with arms and backs. The front row has a ledge for drinks, while the back row has high director chairs. There’s eight seats in each patio.

Sharon Speedway is owned by the Blaney, Weller, and Kirila Families and is a 3/8-mile dirt track located on Custer-Orangeville Road in Hartford, Ohio near the intersection of Routes 7 & 305.
