Racing Plus Fireworks At Raceway 7 This Week!

Conneaut, OH (May 20, 2015): Raceway 7 will see regular competition in all five divisions Friday night with the added bonus for fan of Fireworks by Gibson!

With two wins in three nights of racing former champion Chad Wright is expected to be near the front of the pack at the end of the Evergreen Lake Park Campground CARS Late Model feature. But it won’t be an easy task as defending champion Kyle Zimmerman and 2009 champion Dennis Lunger will be doing all they can to prevent a third win by Wright.

Former Bonnell Collision Center E-Mods champion Percy McDonald won the first two outings for the class and leads the points by a very comfortable 56-point margin after only three weeks of racing. Ken Zimmer won his first of the season last Friday and currently is second with Chuck Steinle Jr third.

Brandon Groters sits on top of the Campbell’s Mini Storage Street Stock standings with two wins in the young season. Opening night winner Shaun Fawcett is second with fending champion Chris Withers third.

Defending champion Josh Ferry has two wins and a second to open the Bonnell Auto Les Economods 2015 season and leads the standings, but only by nine points over Rick Prosser, week three winner. Russ Kapalin is currently third.

Former Specialty Products Mini Stock champion Brad Cole leads the way in the 2015 standing by a comfortable 44-point edge over Justin Boardman and another two points over Jason Easler.

Weather permitting, gates open every Friday at 5:30 PM with pill draw cut off at 7 PM and racing at 7:30 PM. VIP suites are available for rental for $250 a night which includes eight general admissions passes. Admission is set for $10 for adults for regular events, kids 7-14 are $5.
