Renegades Of Dirt Modified Tour Makes 2015 Schedule Revision

(Middlebourne, WV) – The Renegades of Dirt Modified Tour presented by Arizona Sport Shirts would like to officially announce a revision to the 2015 season schedule. Due to the needs of the following four tracks, the opportunity to schedule double header weekends as opposed to single day events, and the location of the venues. Officials felt it was in the best interest of all to alter the 2015 schedule as follows;

The first will be a switch between Wythe Raceway and Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway to virtually flip-flop their previously scheduled July Saturday nights. The revision sees racing Saturday July 18th at Wythe Raceway for the Renegades of Dirt South in action for the 2nd Annual “Commonwealth Cup”. On Saturday July 24th Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway will host the Northern tour for it’s only time in 2015, in conjunction with the Renegade Sprint Series.

Furthermore, two events have been ADDED to the Renegades of Dirt schedule for 2015. Of the two added events, one will be a Southern region event with the other being a Northern region event. On Friday July 17th the tour will return to Carolina Speedway to be the opening night of the now double header weekend.

Additionally, on Friday July 24th the Renegades of Dirt will venture to Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, PA for the first night of the 4th Annual “Duel on Dirt” weekend, the event will pair with Pittsburgh PA Motor Speedway to form another double header weekend as opposed to the scheduled single day weekend.

SCHEDULE REVISION
Friday – July 17th – Carolina Speedway $1,500 to win
Saturday – July 18th – Wythe Raceway $1,500 to win
Friday – July 24th – Lernerville Speedway $1,500 to win
Saturday – July 25th – Pittsburgh PA Speedway $1,500 to win

“As a tour since our beginning we always look to book two day weekends instead of single day to help assist in the traveling. Anytime a racer can travel to the same area and run for two nights at our increased purse he gets more for his tank of gas and time than if we were to run a single night of racing” stated tour director, Cody Watson.

“With the needs of the two additional tracks it only made sense that PPMS & Wythe switch weekends and they both agreed immediately to the change to allow us to book the two Friday night venues. Their cooperation is much appreciated and will make for two better weekends of racing as a result” added Watson.

“We hope that the schedule revision is well received and believe it will be. As stated on our original schedule it is subject to change and was tentative for this reason. The change will officially finish our schedule for 2015. It finishes with 34 events, 16 per region, and a couple of national events. It’s a very racer/travel friendly schedule and pays out close to a half million dollars in purse & point funds” concluded Watson.
