It was a perfect, summer, Saturday night for a little dirt track racing on the Hill. With 101 drivers entered in the pits, the fans were in for a spectacular night of racing in all divisions.
The Barnes Performance Unlimited Mini Stocks had a field of 14 for their $400 to win special with Blaine Markey setting fast time for the night with a 19.254. Picking up each of the heat races were Blaine Markey and Jason St. John, placing them on the front row for the feature event.
As Markey brought the field to the green, he would jump out to the lead. In second and putting pressure on Markey was St. John, as he was all over his back bumper, challenging for the top spot. However, Blaine Markey was able to fend of St. John, and go on to pick up the $400 to win special. James Priebe picked up third, Gary Hensel Jr. fourth and Kevin Markey fifth.
Following a week off, the JPR Auto & Tire, Winning Edge and A & B Roofing and Construction Mini Wedges were back in action with a total of 16 between the small and big tracks. Picking up heat race wins on the small track was Zoe Stafford and Braxton Wilson, while Chase Settles picked up the heat win on the big track.
With the field set, the small track feature was under way with Stafford out front and Wilson a close second. Making a number of attempts at the lead, Wilson was able to take the lead passing Stafford on the front stretch. Not deterred, Stafford would challenge Wilson, however, it was Braxton Wilson who was able to hold on to the lead and pick up the win.
On the large track, it was Settles out front with Destinie Bates on his bumper for second. Coming off of four for the checkered, Bates would make a move going side by side down the front stretch with Settles for the win, however was unable to make it stick as Chase Settles went on to pick up the win.
The Novice Mini Stocks had a field of six with Dustin Camp and John Maki setting front row for the feature event. Taking the lead and going on to pick up the win from outside pole was John Maki followed by Colten St. John, Dustin Camp, Samantha St. John, and Katie Thomas.
The Holmes Pest Control Street Stocks had a 20-car field with Mike Lonas, Matt Shroyer, and Todd Swim picking up wins in each of the heat races.

As caution came out, both Lonas and Shroyer would end up going pitside, placing Swim out front for the restart. With the race back underway and Swim out front, a hard charging Kyle Moore, driving brother Brad Moore’s 2* car, had worked his way from the tail up to second. Coming down for the checkered, Moore made a move for top spot, however, it was Todd Swim who was able to hold on and pick up his first win this season. Rounding out the top five was Gary Hensel Jr., Dave Potts, and Tyler Sines.

Setting the pace to the green was Hottinger, with “The General” George Lee on the outside. As the green dropped, it was Hottinger out front, while Lee and Mike Basich battled close behind. With the top three contending for the lead, troubles forced Basich to the infield, leaving Hottinger and Lee to battle through lap traffic. The two continued side by side, each trying to get the edge on the other. However, coming out of four to the checkered with a mere 0.142 second advantage as they crossed the line, it was “The General” George Lee who would pick up the win over Vic Hottinger. Third went to Mike Lonas, fourth to Rick Mardis, and fifth to Ty Myers.
The Bugs-R-Gone trucks had a field of ten with Rolly Heyder picking up heat one and Cole Lillibridge picking up heat two.
