Conneaut, OH (June 3, 2014): the RUSH Sportsman Modified Series, a ’602′ crate-engined modified series, new to the racing scene this season, will make it’s premier appearance at Raceway 7 this coming Friday night, June 6. After the first three events run Adam Hilton, of Buffalo, Ny, leads the series standings with Rocky Kugel and Jamie Duncan second and third.

Uniform night for the kids will also be on tap.

All five regular divisions will also see competition with the Evergreen Lake Park Campground Crate Late Models the featured class. Defending champion Chad Wright leads the charge for the 2014 title with last week’s winner Darrell Bossard second and Dennis Lunger third. All three drivers have a win in the current season and all are former champions at Raceway 7. Bossard was the 2003 Street Stock Champion while Lunger was the 2009 Crate Late Model Champion.

The Bonnell Collision Center E-Mods have also had three different winners in the first three week with 2009 champion Percy McDonald, Josh McDonald, and Joel Watson, the defending champion, all in Victory Lane. Watson leads the season points looking for another title while Percy McDonald and Gary Eicher trail.

Ed Bolyard leads the Campbell’s Mini-Storage Street Stocks points after three weeks of competition and has scored two feature wins and a second. However, even with a stellar record he only leads defending champion Chris Withers by three markers. Withers also has a win. Jimmy Kennerknecht currently runs third in the standings, only ten points out of the lead.

Young Josh Ferry won his first-ever Zimmer Service Center Economods feature two weeks ago and then followed that up with his second win last week. He leads the season-long standings by eighteen markers over opening night winner Steve Burns. Russ Kapalin is third, another 43 points back.

The Specialty Products Mini Stocks are headed by 2012 champion Bud Sergeff with an 11 points edge over Jason Easler. 2013 rookie Dale Fraschetti currently rides third another eleven points behind Easler and only one point ahead of defending champion Brad Cole.

Weather permitting, gates open every Friday at 5:30 PM with pill draw cut off at 7 PM and racing at 7:30 PM. VIP suites are available for rental for $250 a night which includes eight general admissions passes. Admission is set for $10 for adults for regular events, kids 7-14 are $5.
