Wingless Sprints Come To Raceway 7 This Friday!
2 min readConneaut, OH (May 20, 2014): The Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series will make it’s first-ever appearance at Raceway 7 May 20, joining the regular card of Evergreen Lake Park Campground Crate Late Models, Bonnell Collision Center E-Mods, Campbell’s Mini-Storage Street Stocks, Zimmer Service Center Economods, and Specialty Products Mini Stocks. The B.O.S.S. cars are non-wing sprinters and have never appeared at Raceway 7 in the 44 year history of the track. After two events of the season Michael Fichesser is the current points leader with Mike Miller, Dustin Smith, Brandon Spithaler, and Andre Layfield filling out the top five. Layfield and Chase Stockton are the winners in the first two events run this season at Eldora Speedway and Wayne County Speedway.
In regular action opening night winners Dennis Lunger (Evergreen Lake Park Campground Crate Late Models), Percy McDonald (Bonnell Collision Center E-Mods), Ed Bolyard (Campbell’s Mini-Storage Street Stocks), Steve Burns (Zimmer Service Center Economods), and Carlos Aponte (Specialty Products Mini Stocks) are all expected to be viewing for their second wins of the season.
Weather permitting, gates open every Friday at 5:30 PM with pill draw cut off at 7 PM and racing at 7:30 PM. VIP suites are available for rental for $250 a night which includes eight general admissions passes. Admission is set for $15 for adults for this special event, kids 7-14 are $5.
