(Millersburg, Ohio) The cooler temperatures did not deter cars or fans from attending Hilltop Speedway Saturday night. With 89 cars in attendance, the fans were ready for an action packed night of races.

First, to see the track for the night were the JPR Auto and Winning Edge Mini Wedges with a field of 15. Picking up the wins in each of the two heat races were Kyla Dillon and Karyssa Beagle, setting the front row for the night’s feature event. Bringing the youngsters to the start, it was the #11K of Kyla Dillon out front early followed by the #500 of Destinie Bates. The two ran side-by-side most of the race but as the checkered dropped it was the “Throttle Monster” Destinie Bates picking up the win, making it her third straight at Hilltop Speedway this season. Following Bates was Kyla Dillon, Chase Settles, Nick Large, and Taylor Huggins rounding out the top five

Next to see action were the Novice Mini Stocks. Sitting on pole position, it was John Maki leading the field to the start. However, short-lived when coming from the third place position it was #84 Colton St. John jumping out front to take the lead as well as the win. Rounding out the field was Dustin Camp, Samantha St. John, and John Maki.

With a field of 15, the next division up was the Holmes Pest Control Street Stocks. It was brothers, Kyle and Brad Moore, picking up each of the two-heat race wins, thus putting them side-by-side on the front row of the feature line-up. With #12 of Kyle Moore on point, leading the field down the backstretch to the green, he jumped out front to an early lead and that was where he remained. He went on to take the checkered followed by Brad Moore, who came from the tail to finish 2nd in addition to Dave Potts, John Wilson picked up third, fourth went to Denny Shear and Justin Patterson fifth.

Rolling onto the track next with a field of 19 was the Holmes Tire Late Models. Setting fast time for the night was #14JR, JR Gentry with a 14.639. Heat race winners were Jimmy Smith and Craig Wolford with Devin Moran picking up the dash win, placing him on the pole for the night’s feature event. Bringing the field of late models to the green was #99M Devin Moran with #C4 “Fast” Freddie Carpenter sitting outside. However, caution was brought out coming out of two, sending Carpenter pit side for the night and placing #21 George “The General” Lee outside of Moran for a complete restart. After battling side-by-side for over half of the race, Moran was able to edge his way out front over Lee, picking up back-to-back wins and his third feature at Hilltop Speedway. Rounding out the top five was George Lee, Craig Wolford, Steve Prince, and Rick Mardis.

Modifieds were next up with a 13-car field. #101 “The Outlaw” Jesse Wisecarver set fast time for the night with a 16.008, with Rory Reed picking up the heat race win and the dash going to “The Stalker” Jon Sluka. Rolling onto the track it was #21J Sluka setting the pace to the green with #144 Anthony Kinkade outside pole. As the green dropped, it was Jon Sluka taking the lead fending off challengers Kinkade and Wisecarver. Coming to the checkered, it was Sluka on the low groove and Wisecarver on the high side, battling back and forth. However, it was “The Outlaw” Jesse Wisecarver who wheeled his way past Sluka coming out of four to take the win. Jon Sluka picked up second, while Robin Duston finished third, Rory Reed fourth and Pauly Hess fifth.

Making their second trip back to Hilltop Speedway this season was the 8-car field of Mod Lites. Picking up the heat race wins were Nick Crider and Brian Stuhldrecher. Coming to the green it was #3x Nick Crider leading the field. However, after some bad luck he had to take his car pit side. After the restart it was #17 Brian Stuhldrecher taking the lead and picking up the feature win. Rounding out the top five was Ron Hixenbaum, Tim Hawkins, Doug Stanley, and Wayne Kintz.

The last division for the night was the Mini Stocks with a 15-car field. Heat races wins went to Michael Rose and Jason St. John.
