Hoosier Tire Ohio Valley Named Official Tire Supplier Of Atomic Speedway

CHILLICOTHE, OHIO-For over a year, Brad McCown has strategically pieced together parts of a complicated puzzle that has brought Atomic Speedway back to life. Earlier this week McCown put another piece of the puzzle in place, signing a deal with Hoosier Tire Ohio Valley–a deal that makes Atomic Speedway a Hoosier Tire track and makes Hoosier Tire Ohio Valley the official supplier of the historic 3/8 mile speedway.

“This is a great deal for everyone,” said McCown. “It’s going to be a great deal for the drivers, for the speedway, and for the race fans. I’m really excited about signing this deal and I am anxious for the 2014 racing season to begin.

The deal means, “Hoosier Tires in all classes!”

Everyone is looking forward to the Atomic 2014 Grand Opening on March 22, 2014. Test and Tune will be March 15.

All Star tire rules will apply for Sprints Cars, Late Models must run a 1300 or harder compound, the AMRA tire rules apply for Modifieds, and Street Stocks and Sport Mods have until June 1 to burn off tires other than Hoosier. All Street Stocks and Sport Mods must run Hoosier tires after June 1.

McCown and crew continue to pursue sponsorships. Sprint car standout Josh Davis is Marketing Director of Atomic Speedway and has begun work in securing sponsors and marketing the Atomic Speedway brand name.
