I-77 Raceway Park Switches To Friday Night’s
2 min readI-77 Raceway Park is excited to announce a big move for the 2014 season. With many tracks in West Virginia and surrounding states running on Saturday nights we have made the decision to move to Friday nights in Jackson County. I-77 Raceway Park feels that this is a better opportunity to serve more drivers in the area and provide them a place to race. Running a full schedule every Friday night will allow those drivers to run more tracks on Saturday nights. We struggled with the decision because we all work a full time job just like every dirt track fan and driver out there. I-77 Raceway Park fans, drivers , the Jackson County community surrounding cities and states have always supported I-77 every Saturday night for many years, we will forever be grateful for those supporters. We anticipate that those loyal fans and drivers will understand the decision we had to make for this season in order to provide excellent races and options of places to race.
I-77 Raceway Park has teamed up with OVSCA, Ultimate Super Late Model Series and Lucas Oil to provide some exciting races for 2014. Along with these races we will have the Sampson Memorial and JD Randolph Memorial in place for this coming season.
Along with these exciting race events I-77 Raceway Park would like to announce a few community events. January 24th and 25 we invite you to visit our booth at the West Virginia International Auto Show at the Charleston Civic Center. The following weekend be sure to purchase your Monster Truck show tickets for the Charleston Civic Center on January 31st and February 1st. I-77
Raceway Park will take part in the opening ceremonies of each show. Before the show stop by our booth in the Civic Center lobby to pick up your 2014 schedule.
The staff at I-77 is looking forward to 2014.
