19th Fred Dillow Memorial Set For Saturday At PRP

The 19th Annual Fred Dillow Memorial Race, is scheduled for Saturday, August 17th, at Portsmouth Raceway Park, with late models paying $5,000 to win, open wheel modifieds paying $1,000 to win, limited late models paying $830 to win and bombers paying $500 to win!

The 50-lap late model feature will pay $5,000 to win! Bozo’s “Just Give Me One Lap” will pay $1,077 for late model fast time, the Sgt. Tim Moore Late Model Dash will pay $233, Racers in Christ will pay the late model hard charger $190 and the Impact RaceGear late model heats will pay $83 to win. The Ryan “Pfunk” Potter Halfway Leader of the late model feature will receive a minimum of a $100 and the #20 Perry Racing 1st lap leader of the late model feature will pay $50.

In the 20-lap Tri-State Industrial Supply $1,000 to win open wheel modified feature, Meadows Photos 4U will pay a $50 bonus to the halfway leader and Walker Construction (In Memory of Linda Walker) will pay the modified hard charger $100.

In the 15-lap $830 to win limited late model feature, H&H Continuous Guttering is sponsoring the $100 hard charger award and in the 12-lap $500 to win Bomber feature, Stephens Towing and Repo is sponsoring the hard charger award, which also pays $100.

Mark’s Photo will provide each feature winner with a poster print that will be taken in victory lane and Graphic Creations will provide a large cardboard check to each feature winner. Off The Wall Kustom T’s will give the late model feature winner a customized 19th Annual Fred Dillow Memorial mirrored plaque.

The “Long Haul” Award will give $100 in gas cards and a DeWalt Impact Wrench to the team traveling the farthest, courtesy of Pro-Star Designs, Keith & Tracy Ferguson and Tri-State Industrial Supply. The $50 “Dangerous Dan Aldridge Tough Break Award” will be given in all divisions.

With 70 sponsors for this year’s race, bonus cash will be randomly placed throughout the field in all divisions in addition to PRP’s regular purse! Valvoline products, Arizona Sports Shirts, ASI Racewear, Raceaholic, 2Graf1c Distributions, Big Mack Photography and Keyser Manufacturing have provided t-shirts, hats and other prizes that will also be given away to drivers and fans.

Even though this is a special event, PRP’s regular admission prices remain the same. Ages 7-11 – $2, 12-15 – $5, 16 & Up – $12 and Pits – $22 (all ages).

Gates Open at 4:00 PM; Drivers Meeting begins at 6:00 PM; Hot Laps start at 6:30 PM; and Racing begins at 7:30 PM.
