Beckley to Host Down and Dirty Thirty and Hillbilly Qualifier

BECKLEY, WV- Beckley Motorsports Park will host the 3rd annual Down and Dirty 30 this Friday, August 2 for AMRA Kryptonite Late Models on the fast Southern West Virginia oval in Prosperity, West Virgnia. Gates open at 4 p.m. for the event which is sponsored by City National Bank. The show is the first of two consecutive big nights at Beckley as Friday, August 9 Beckley will host the Hillbilly 100 qualifier paying $1,500 to win and a guaranteed spot in the Hillbilly 100 at I-77 Raceway Park over Labor Day weekend. Thursday, August 15 and Friday, August 16 are two big days on the Beckley Motorsports Park calendar as Thursday evening Beckley Motorsports Park will host “Get Dirty with Kenny”. Due to an overwhelming interest in the “Get Dirty with Kenny” campaign, Federated Auto Parts/Fisher Auto Parts have decided to have the campaign at five different tracks across America; Beckley was chosen as one of the five participants.

Current members are automatically eligible and new members are being accepted. More information on this event is to come. Who wants to go for a ride in a 2 seater race car? And to top it off ….who wants to go for this ride with Kenny Schrader behind the wheel? Raffle Tickets will be available for purchase soon. The ride will take place on Aug. 15th!

Friday, August 16 Kenny Shrader of Sprint Cup NASCAR fame will be racing against a stout field of AMRA Octane Modifieds paying $2,000 to win and $300 to start in the Fast and Furious open wheel shootout.
