ULTIMATE To Visit I-77 On Saturday For $5,000 To Win!

Ripley, West Virginia – The ULTIMATE Super Late Model Series continues it’s expansion in just it’s third year of touring. The Georgia based series will make it’s first ever visit to Wild and Wonderful West Virginia this week when they travel to I-77 Raceway Park in Ripley for a big $5000 to win event. “We are really excited about the I-77 event. Thy have had some great Super Late Model races there over the years and we want to add another memorable one for the fans up there. Everyone at the track has been a real pleasure to work with and I know we are going to have a great event at an awesome facility.” said ULTIMATE Series Director Kelley Carlton.

Through 5 events the ULTIMATE Series has had 5 different winners. The season opener at Lavonia (GA) Speedway saw Riley Hickman of Ooltewah, Tennessee pick up the win. 2005 World 100 winner Dale McDowell scored the win in the visit to North Georgia Speedway in April. Defending Series Champion Casey Roberts grabbed the $4000 winner’s check at Cleveland County (NC) Speedway. 2 weeks ago Gray Court, South Carolina’s Chris Madden repeated his 2012 triumph at County Line (NC) Raceway and just this past weekend young gun Dillon Wood of New Smyrna Beach, Florida scored his first career ULTIMATE victory at Smoky Mountain (TN) Speedway.

Casey Roberts of Toccoa, Georgia will lead the ULTIMATE Series contingent into the hills of West Virginia along with Greeneville, Tennessee’s Brett Miller; Hodges, South Carolina’s Larry Timms; Jeff Smith of Dallas, North Carolina; Chris Ferguson of Mt. Holly, North Carolina and Zack Mitchell of Enoree, South Carolina. Drivers from all around the region and Mid-Ohio Valley are expected to be on hand.

In addition to the headlining ULTIMATE Super Late Models, the FASTRAK Pro Late Models, AMRA Modifieds and Mod-Lites will also be in action. The gates are scheduled to open at 3 PM.
