3 min readCONCORD, NC – May 13, 2013 – NAPA Auto Parts has signed as the presenting sponsor of the second annual World of Outlaws Late Model Series ‘Jackpot 100′ on May 25-26 at Tyler County Speedway in Middlebourne, W.Va.
The Jackpot 100 Presented by NAPA Auto Parts headlines a huge four-day holiday weekend of entertainment at Tyler County Speedway that also includes support-division racing, music and camping in the hills of West Virginia. The WoO LMS portion of the extravaganza has expanded to two full nights of action this year, with a 30-lap A-Main paying $6,000 to win on Sat., May 25, and a 70-lap feature event boasting a $15,000 first-place check on Sun., May 26.
With the announcement, NAPA Auto Parts continues its support of World of Outlaws competition. The well-known automotive parts store has sponsored several events in recent years on both the WoO LMS and WoO STP Sprint Car Series.
“It’s great for NAPA to be involved with World of Outlaws,” said Kevin Amtower, president of Amtower Auto Supply, which owns 10 NAPA Auto Parts stores in and around its Bridgeport, W.Va., headquarters. “We see these guys (race attendees) in the store every day, and now we get to spend the weekend with them at the race.”
As part of NAPA’s sponsorship of the Jackpot 100, fans making a purchase for any amount at a participating NAPA Auto Parts store will have the opportunity to bring their receipt to Tyler County Speedway on race weekend and receive 20 percent off a purchase of merchandise at the official World of Outlaws Late Model Series souvenir trailer. With five NAPA Auto Parts located within 20 miles of the track – the closest being just 10 miles away – and 41 stores sitting within 75 miles of the speedway, fans have plenty of options to stop at a NAPA outlet en route to the quarter-mile clay oval.
NAPA Auto Parts stores located in the general vicinity of Tyler County Speedway will also help publicize the Jackpot 100 with promotional cards and display posters detailing the special WoO LMS souvenir trailer discount offer.
In addition, fans can expect to enjoy other fun-filled giveaways and promotions from NAPA Auto Parts throughout the two nights of the Jackpot 100 at the popular fairgrounds track.
While the Jackpot 100 Presented by NAPA Auto Parts alone represents a spectacular Memorial Day weekend attraction, the WoO LMS action will be accented by other exciting entertainment. The purchase of a four-day, all-access ticket for just $80 grants admission to May 25-26 WoO LMS programs – which also include the $7,555-to-win ‘Let It Ride 55′ for the Renegades of Dirt Modifieds Tour and a $2,000-to-win Fastrak Crate Late Model event – plus a support-division qualifying card on Thurs., May 23 and a giant country-music concert on Fri., May 24, featuring recording artists Colt Ford, Justin Moore and Zack Paxson.
The all-access tickets, which also include pit admission for the races, can be purchased in advance by calling the ticket hotline at 304-771-5661 or 304-771-4883. Single-day tickets for admission to the races and concert are also being sold.
