I-77 Raceway Park Goes FASTRAK for 2013

(Four Oaks, North Carolina) – FASTRAK Companies International is happy to announce that after months of talks and negotiations a deal is finalized. We’re excited that FASTRAK will be with I-77 Raceway Park in Ripley, West Virginia sanctioning the Pro (crates) Late Models division on Saturday nights. “This is a track that’s we’ve really wanted to try to lock down. We’re very pleased to be working with Promoter Joseph Rush at I-77 for the upcoming 2013 racing season and beyond.” exclaimed FASTRAK Director of Operations Brian Haynes.

There were talks about having the steel-head late models program associate with the crate late models of FASTRAK at I-77 Raceway Park. Similar to what’s taking place at County Line Raceway and Virginia Motor Speedway. However there was such a tremendous response about FASTRAK being a part of the 3/8th mile clay oval nestled off Interstate 77 in West Virginia at the Fairplain Exit.

Promoter Joseph Rush stated the following, “I’ve always followed and been a huge fan of FASTRAK. The World Championship in 2012 last year at Beckley, West Virginia I was honored to be a part of working for Joe & Billie Jo Jackson at their 3/8th mile. Everyone witnessed the best dirt late model racing witnessed in years. I have been a big fan of FASTRAK whether attending Beckley or Friendship from the past years. Stan Lester and everyone at FASTRAK are truly blessed with a great organization celebrating 10 years. I’m also very excited to announce that I-77 Raceway Park will allow the FASTRAK competitors to run either in the Northeast or Southeast region of their choice also, something that’s never been done at any track before. We’re very excited and looking forward to what’s in store for I-77 Raceway Park and FASTRAK united beginning in 2013.”

The 2013 Racing Season kicks into high gear on Saturday April 6th 2013 with an Open Practice for all of the racing divisions running and the first race of the season starts an exciting and optimistic 2013 on Saturday April 13th 2013 with racing to take place every Saturday nights. FASTRAK Sweeney Cars Northeast Touring Series will be in action for a Touring event on August 3rd for a $2,000 to win event. Also details are still in the works but Promoter Rush is hoping to align a big National FASTRAK race to take place as part of the always popular Hillbilly 100 weekend.
