American Heritage Classic to be UMP Sanctioned

(Peebles, OH) As we dawn upon the new year we here at Brushcreek Motorsports Complex in Peebles, OH are proud to release more details about the EPIC WEEKEND September 12th-14th. We are proud to announce that the American Heritage Classic portion of the Epic Weekend will be sanctioned by UMP DIRTcar. The “Harley Race” as it is better known will be a UMP Late Model points paying event in 2013. Brushcreek Motorsports is not a Weekly UMP track but head officials have decided to sanction with UMP to draw interest to the event. “We have looked at different series and I have worked with the folks at UMP Before and I just thought it was the best thing to do” Said BMC Promoter Steven Partin. We hope this change entices drivers in the Midwest running for UMP Points to come race as they are able to collect points toward a National Championship while also racing for $10,000 and a Brand New Harley Davidson Motorcycle.

As most know the American Heritage Classic is split up into two 50 Lap Segments, the first paying $10,000 to win and the Second giving the winner a choice between $10,000 or a Brand New Harley Davidson V-Rod. Both 50 Lap segments will pay UMP Points as full features. Qualifying and Heat Races for the American Heritage Classic will be held on Friday September 13th along with a FULL show of OVSCA 410 Winged Sprint Cars. The B-Mains will be held just before the two segments on Saturday September 14th. There is also a Full non-sanctioned Late Model show on Thursday September 12th.

All UMP Late Model rules will be active durring Friday and Saturdays Late Model events. All rules can be found on www.dirtcar.com.
